The processes to manufacture forged wheels and the materials necessary to produce them have a very high cost. Many end users understand the benefits of the forged wheels but they cannot afford it. Enkei’s new generation of light aluminium wheels, made using Enkei’s new M.A.T Process, achieves strong, light weight and anti-flex properties while keeping the cost accessible to the end user.
The Manufacturing Process Enkei developed a new manufacturing process to produce there new generation of aluminium wheel. The Most Advanced Technology (M.A.T) combines one-piece cast wheel technology with rim forming technology. Using this new technology of casting and rim forming by the M.A.T process, Enkei has been able to improve drastically the material property and strength of the wheels. The M.A.T process has a drastic impact on the micro structure of the aluminium and results in outstanding improvement of the mechanical property of the material. The process of spinning the rim allows a Metal Flow in the rim section, which resemble the properties obtained from the forging process. The control of the metal flow in the rim section results in finer and more even structure.
Weight Philosophy In order to reduce load on a vehicle's suspension, it is important to reduce the wheel weight. The M.A.T process improves the mechanical properties of the rim section by shaving the rim's thickness and therefore reducing wheel weight. This latest manufacturing technology and wheel engineering is a direct feedback from Enkei’s Motorsport involvement. These high performance properties and the reasonable cost are catching the attention of many motorsport users in Australia.

The RPF1 was developed out of the challenge of competition in elite racing categories, with lightweight and anti-flex characteristics in its design. Available in Silver and Gold.
NT03 Silver
The NT03+M was originally developed for competition use in the challenging Japanese Super Endurance races. Engineered to withstand the high G-forces of cornering, with anti-flex properties to maximize driving performance. Available in White or Silver.
RS+M Silver
The RS+M was developed for racing in the Japanese Super Endurance series. With a high anti-flex structure, which allows for the use of slick tyres and its lightweight characteristics make it the perfect sport racing wheel. Available in Light Grey.
